What is a parallel task?

A parallel task represents how many scraping jobs can be running simultaneously within your account:

If, for example, your account has access to 2 parallel tasks, once 2 scraping jobs are running, the next jobs launched will be queued and marked with the status 'waiting'.

As soon as one of the initial scraping jobs finishes running and 'frees up' a parallel task, the queued scraping job will be launched.

You can see how many jobs are waiting in a queue within the 'Account info' panel:
