SmartProxy Proxy integration instructions
To integrate your Cloud Scraper account with the SmartProxy Proxy provider:
1. Open the
Proxy Manager page within the Cloud Scraper
2. Open the Proxy modal by clicking on the
Add Proxy button
3. Click on the
Create smartproxy.com account or navigate directly to
smartproxy.com
4. Proceed with creating an account by clicking on the
Start Now button
5. Next, follow the steps by entering the relevant information required to create an account
6. After that, you will receive an e-mail to activate your account
7. Then, an account verification form will need to be filled out to activate the Proxy, which can take up to 2 business days to be reviewed by SmartProxy
8. Once you have done that, log into your
SmartProxy account
9 . From there, navigate to the SmartProxy pricing page by clicking toggling the
Datacenter Proxies tab on the left-hand side of the page and then, selecting the
Datacenter (Pay/GB) option below. If you are looking to use a
Residential proxy, follow the same steps, just choose the
Residential proxy option on the right side of the page
10 . Choose a subscription plan and proceed to checkout. A single page rendered by the FullJS driver is 100-300 KB in size, whereas using the Fast driver, a single page is 50-150 KB in size, thus, choose your plan according to your requirements
11. After successfully proceeding with the payment, your SmartProxy account will be updated with the newly added Proxy, which you will be able to see at the top of the dashboard
12. Navigate to the Proxy setup page to access the Proxy credentials
13. Copy these details and navigate back to the Cloud Scrapers Proxy Manager page
14. Enter the details into the appropriate fields to add the Proxy by clicking
Save
15. Once finalized, the Proxy will be available within your Custom Proxies list
