Why was my automatic export not delivered?

Automatic Data Export runs after a Cloud scraping job finishes. If you do not see the expected file or dataset, first confirm that the scraping job has completed.

Check the Data Export configuration

  1. Open the sitemap in Web Scraper Cloud.
  2. Open Data Export.
  3. Confirm that the correct destination is selected.
  4. Confirm that the required account is still connected or synchronized.
  5. Confirm that the export destination has available space for a job to be exported.
  6. Check whether there are no errors displayed next to the export option.

Run a test job

Run the sitemap once and wait for the scraping job to finish. Then check the configured destination for the completed dataset.

Automatic export is not continuous while a job is running, so no complete export should be expected before the job reaches its final state.

Check the exported data

If the export arrives but the columns or values are not what you expected, check any configured Parser rules. Parser changes can affect column names, removed or Virtual columns, transformed values, and date or number formats in the final dataset.

If the export is still missing

If the job completed successfully and the Data Export destination is connected and correctly configured, contact Web Scraper Support for help troubleshooting the export.

See the Data export documentation for more information.
