How do I install and open Web Scraper?

Web Scraper is available as a browser extension for Chrome, Firefox, and Microsoft Edge.

Install Web Scraper

  1. Install the Web Scraper extension for your browser:
  2. Open a regular website after the installation is complete.
  3. If Web Scraper does not appear, restart your browser and try again.

Open the Sitemap Wizard

  1. Open the website you want to scrape.
  2. Click the Web Scraper icon in the browser toolbar.
  3. If the icon is not pinned, open the browser Extensions menu and select Web Scraper.

The Sitemap Wizard will open for the current website.

Open the Advanced Sitemap Builder

For more control over sitemap structure and selectors:

  1. Open the website you want to scrape.
  2. Open browser Developer Tools.
  3. Select the Web Scraper tab.

Developer Tools shortcuts:

  • Windows and Linux: Ctrl+Shift+I or F12
  • Mac: Cmd+Opt+I

You can also right-click an element on the page and select Inspect.
