How do I run an existing sitemap in Web Scraper Cloud?

If your sitemap is already in Web Scraper Cloud, open it and use the Scrape tab to configure and start the job.

Run a sitemap in Cloud

  1. Open the sitemap in Web Scraper Cloud.
  2. Open the Scrape tab.
  3. Review the run settings, including driver, proxy, request interval, and page load delay.
  4. Select Test scrape if you want to validate the setup first.
  5. Select Scrape to start the full job.

There is no separate job-creation step. Starting a scrape from the sitemap creates the scraping job.

If the sitemap is still only in the browser extension

Import it into Cloud first:

  1. Open Sitemap Import.
  2. Find the sitemap under Import Extension Sitemaps.
  3. Select the available import action.
  4. Open the imported sitemap in Cloud and confirm that the correct sitemap was transferred.

You can also import an exported sitemap JSON if the sitemap is not available in the current browser extension.

Test before a full run

A Test scrape processes up to 500 links and does not use URL credits. Use it to check the sitemap output, driver, proxy, and timing settings before starting a full job.

See the Run a Cloud scraping job documentation and Import a sitemap into Web Scraper Cloud documentation for more information.
